The Fatal Flaw of the Future—Limiting God | Psalm 78:32-41
Introduction: “The future is as bright as the promises of God.” This means, of course, that if we are faithful in following God, He will do awesome things for an individual or a church. However, the blessings God has ready to pour out on us can be blocked by barriers that we ourselves erect. In that way we limit what God wants to do. In this text, Israel limited God as they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.
How did they do that?

I. They limited God by their Lousy Living. V. 32

II. They limited God with Feeble Faith. V. 32

III. They limited God with their Puny Prayers. Vs. 34-36

IV. They limited God with their Carnal Commitments. V. 37

V. They limited God with their Hard Hearts. V. 41
